"bucking trends to win market share"
Proposition
If you want to disrupt a market and be a game changer we should talk.
I’ve launched several tech businesses myself and helped a number of other organisations (start-ups and long established companies) enter new markets, grow revenue and operate more profitably. Now I’m using my experience to help others.
Whether you’ve got first mover advantage or are trying to catch up with the competition, if you’ve got an idea for a new business or product, need advice, investment, or help to assess an opportunity, or you're just curious to know how your organisation could benefit from using the latest technology trends, then please get in contact.
I’m always interested in new projects, especially with early stage tech companies, people with innovative ideas or investors looking for support.

Profile
I’m a hands-on sales-focused business leader with an outstanding track record getting new businesses and products into market leading positions.
I’ve been working in the technology sector for nearly 40 years and involved in the launch of many new products and services, some I invented, some I copied and some I just executed.
In the last 30 years, I have launched five tech businesses. I have ideas, I commercialise them, I position the proposition, raise funding (if it’s needed) and then lead a sales and marketing campaign to get to market. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many very smart people (employees and clients), helping transform businesses and shape new markets.
I’m now working with a number of businesses to disrupt markets for their commercial benefit and for the benefit of their end customers.

Portfolio
Who I’m currently bucking trends with:

Smarterly aims to turn the UK into a nation of investors by promoting the benefits of healthy savings habits via people's employers. We make investing simple, engaging and accessible, with convenience of saving directly from pay.

Moneyinfo is a portal for managing all personal finances, aggregating data from bank accounts, pension providers, fund managers and other sources. This helps people, and their advisers, see and manage all their finances.

Neyber is disrupting the lending market by providing fair finance loans in the workplace. Employees have access to affordable borrowings repaid via salary deduction at no cost to their employer.

Earthmiles@Work is a new health tech app for the workplace, engaging employees in their own wellbeing journeys by rewarding them for all of their activity be it physical, mental, financial or social.
I’ve also invested in a number of technology businesses disrupting mature markets or introducing something completely new. These include businesses in Fintech, Traveltech, Adtech and the Sharing-economy.

Organisations who licensed Staffcare’s software include Aon, Equiniti, KPMG, Mercer and Now Pensions.

Screen Pages – helping many well-known multi-channel retailers launch their online e-commerce stores and change the way they interact with their customers. Clients included Fat Face, FCUK, Matalan, Party Pieces and White Stuff. We also built many award-winning financial services websites.

Finale – a back office administration software product for financial advisers to support client management, policy tracking and accounting. Acquired by Data Sciences, part of IBM, then subsequently bought back in an MBO and merged with AssureSoft developers of the Assureweb platform. Sold to DBS Management PLC in 1997.

Hollingdale Ash – the UK’s largest reseller and support services company for Wang word processors and mini computers.
Prior to starting my own businesses, I worked at technology giants Wang and Xerox and won numerous awards for sales performance.
